About the Pastor

Elder Timothy Cox is the pastor of St. Thomas Church of God In Christ. He was raised as a Pentecostal in the Church of God in Christ (C.O.G.I.C.) from the age of 5 and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and savior at the age of 18. Since his conversion, Pastor Cox has progressively lived a life dedicated to the service of Jesus Christ and the work of the ministry. He has served in several capacities; as an usher, choir member, minister and adjutant to the late Bishop Harvey D. Bryan of Holy Redeemer C.O.G.I.C. He is a family man, married to Lady Malika Cox for over 20 years, with 4 children and one grandchild.

Pastor Cox holds a Master’s Degree in Education and is a former educator in the Broward County Public School system. He has a heart for young people and great concerns for the challenges they face in this day and time. Through the Word of God he endeavors to help establish and grow Godly successful individuals and families which in turn will establish thriving, healthy, Godly communities.
